We developed the G-FORCE FIT-COMBAT training gear based on a very simple idea able to transform an offensive tool (the sword) into a safe training tool: the FITSWORD®:


  • We inverted the physics usually applied to any offensive or sport instrument (a sword, a baseball bat, a golf club, an hammer, an axe, ...): their weight is concentrated on the top end, in order to emphasize the momentum and kinetic energy coming from a small swing (the force applied to the mass that is concentrated on the top end, is devastating).


  • What happens if the weight is all concentrated on the handle? That you make a big effort (so there is a fitness and training value in every movement), but the energy transmitted by the top end is quite limited, making the instrument inoffensive and not harmful.


  • The ‘’blade’’ is padded with Extralight®, a soft and light innovative material with excellent Shock Absorption qualities.


3 Training Scenarios

Much more than just a fitness tool...
  • Use the FITSWORD® as a Dumbbell, but train with more precision thanks to the blade that helps vizualize symmetry of your movements.
  • As a Clubbell but safer being padded and soft, and healthier for your wrists (thanks to the reduced leverage and torque having the mass concentrated on the handle).
  • For Fit-boxe and Shadow-boxe, to train with more weight and inertia than hands free.
  • Train for all styles of Swords handling, with an heavier weight than usual, building strength, endurance, control and agility, but with all the safety of a riduced kinetik strike energy and a Shock Absorption blade.
  • Train alone or in a class to learn all exercises, forms and drills, and apply all you learnt with a partner or in group activities and games.


For Fitness, technique & style... in classes or on your own

Get used to the weight of the FITSWORD®, with a safe progression, made of  simple and basic gestures with a weight that you can handle, and over time increase the weight and complexity of gestures and coreographies.

Symmetric Training and improved coordination

Make your training symmetric and balanced: practice one session right-handed and the next session left-handed. You'll develop strength, resistance and endurance, taking no rest between every set.

You'll get the coordination needed to master the FITSWORD® with the non-dominant side of your body.

Dual swords wielding

The ultimate training goal is the ability to  use effectively 2 FITSWORDS®, and the ability to duell with them: it requires lots of coordination and mind-body control. Build the automatism to make the 2 arms independent and able to strike an attack while the other arm defends you from a blow. To make it possible, the non-dominant arm must have been trained as long and with the same attention of the dominant arm.

Light combat

Even if you play slow and soft, each move is a rep... every duel is a straining set. At every attack, at every move, you'll feel the FITSWORD® more and more heavy, but you got to endure and keep on sparring, till your contender can't lift his sword anymore!!

Safety when training and sparring

Safety depends on the distance.

The FITSWORD® is like a short sword (70 cm long). The range is limited and the movements are wide and predictables.

Protect yourself holding the FITSHIELD® straight in front of you, to keep your sparring partner far enough.

The purpose of this training is having fun and learn the technique with style, while you improve strenght, endurance, agility, coordination.

The size doesn't matter

Two persons of different sizes/strenghts can train together with FITSWORDS® of different weight. Each contender struggles with the weight of the FITSWORD® chosen, while sparring and training.



Once you master the Fitness and Light Combat skills, you can practice some combat for more freedom and unpredictability.

  • the contenders must decide and agree the level of engagement;
  • keep always a safe distance and do NOT aim for neck, head and sensitive parts of the body
  • purpose is to touch the contender with the soft part of the sword
  • head and body protections needed.
Expect the unexpected

When training alone, you can make your technique and style perfect. Repetion makes perfection.

But when you train with a partner, be ready to adapt all you have learned to an endless amount of variables.

Every contender is different. The interaction provides different situations each time, forcing you to change and adapt what you learned.
