MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY & SMOOTHNESS
The STRAP allows a much more fluid, natural and smooth movement over the pulley than that of a ROPE.
In a pulley system using a STRAP, the efficiency is higher than 95%. This is because the STRAP moves very smoothly over the pulley with minimal friction. The STRAP’s flat design allows for a natural, fluid motion, which means that almost all the energy applied goes directly into moving the load (that is your body).
In comparison, pulley systems that use ROPES have much lower efficiency, typically less than 80%. This is because a thick ROPE tends to deform when it bends over the pulley, which increases friction. This friction makes the movement less smooth and more jerky, causing a loss of energy, making the movement less natural.
